Is it me or is April already flying by?
We’ve had so much going on this week that it has gone by much faster than usual. The best part of my week was getting to meet up with my blogger friend, Lisa from Fun Money Mom. We’ve been talking for almost a year, but we had never met.
We caught up over prosecco. Even though Costco isn’t my favorite store, I love their prosecco. My French hairstylist, Marie, is the one who told me how amazing it is. When it comes to bubbly, always trust the French.
As far as my budget goes, I didn’t do too bad this week. I’m only $2.03 over budget!
Trader Joe’s: $81.59
The Home Depot: $28.47
This week was a fabulous week for freebies. Check out these pictures:
I got a FabFitFun box, a gardening stool, a Prana outfit, jewelry from Inspired Silver, and a composter. Everything but the stool and jewelry will be reviewed on the blog soon. I’m reviewing the stool and jewelry on other websites. Want freebies too? Check out this post to see how you can get free stuff.
A couple of weeks ago I got a Grab Green box from Moms Meet. They sent me the box of cleaning goodies for me to try out and review. I’ve been using them for about 3 weeks now and love them! I can’t get enough.
My favorite is the Grab Green Automatic Dishwashing Detergent Pods. They cut through grime, remove grease, and leave dishes sparkling clean all while being free of dyes, chlorine, and phosphates. The best part is that they have a wonderful scent that isn’t fake! I can’t do fake perfumes. This is the first time I’ve been able to enjoy scents in a cleaning product.#GrabGreen products are 10% off at @Target right now! #greencleaning #deal Click To Tweet
You know how much I love green cleaning products. You also know how important price point is to me. If you buy Grab Green at Target (located in the Made to Matter section) you can save 10%, but hurry offer expires 4/23 (no coupon code required). Want to save another 50%? If you email a copy of your Target receipt to support@GrabGreenHome.com they will send you a 50% coupon to be used on www.GrabGreenHome.com.
Grab Green sent me their products because they want to spread the word that they are being tested at Target right now. If they do well, they will be in Target stores permanently. I love that Target works with small businesses like Grab Green. It’s pretty cool to be able to shop at a big store and support a little business.

Speaking of being green, I’ve been super green this week when it comes to food waste.
I tossed out this avocado before my composter arrived.
But I saved this overripe tomato by roasting it,
blending it, and putting it on a pizza.
Now that I have my composter, I’m hoping we really cut down on waste.
