TGIF! I’m so happy it’s Friday because it means it’s time for another edition of Frugal FriYay week in review.
Good thing this is a week in “review” because I have a lot of things that I need to review from the past week. Y’all know how much I love to review items, right? Well, it’s getting a little out of hand. I’m starting to get packages almost daily! I’m thinking of writing a post about how to review items on your blog without becoming a review blogger. I love reviews, but don’t want to classify myself as a review blogger.
If you want to review items too, you’ve got to check out this post. You don’t even have to be a blogger. Most companies prefer that your reviews only be on Amazon and the product website. I can’t even express how much fun this is!
This week the boys tested out new toys (read this post to learn how to review toys),
and some absolutely amazing bath gel.
I can’t get over how much they loved The Original Crazy Foam. My boys usually cry when I wash their hair. They’ve been all smiles since we started using the crazy foam. They love the Halloween theme too!
I was able to get this amazing care package from Earth Mama Angel Baby. They are selling this Milk to Go Pumping Companion set online. I have a dear friend who is due with her first baby any day now. I’ll being this to her as a little gift when I go visit her and the new baby in the hospital. I can’t wait to get my hands on that new baby!
I reviewed Teami Blends last week and still have a promotion going on over there. Use code RINALDI10 to get 10% off your order. These days are so good! You have to try them if you are a tea lover.
I saved my best review for last: The Holiday Inn at Disney Springs.
Lisa, from Fun Money Mom, and I stayed there over the weekend while we were in Orlando for Florida Blog Con. We had way too much fun. Isn’t this view from our hotel room amazing?
We walked about Disney Spring on Friday night and had an amazing dinner at Raglan Road.
I’ll post a full review about our stay soon. Stay tuned!
Alright, on to my successes and failures of the week.
I don’t have a single financial success to showcase this week. I spent too much on groceries this week about bought new clothes at Old Navy.
Some weeks are better than others, right?
I guess I do have one success. Tom’s loans are down to less than $3,000. Woo hoo! We will be finished by Christmas if we keep at this rate.
I spent way too much at Costo right after writing last week’s weekly update and didn’t even get food for dinners. I’m actually considering canceling our account because there is only one item there that I really love. It’s not worth the yearly fee for us anymore.
I only wasted 4 slices of moldy bread. Score! Having family in town is really helping us with food waste. I love giving my mom all of the food I’m not going to eat.
How did you do this week?
