It’s that time of year again! The time of year where I share my Christmas gift list.
Even though I’m a blogger, I hate blogger Christmas gift guides. As a frugal living blogger, I hate pushing products and telling my readers to buy stuff they probably don’t need.
While I’ll never do a gift guide, I’ll always share what I’m giving for Christmas because I want to show you that you can give a few great gifts without spending a fortune. Plus, it’s a fun way to share gifts that I truly believe in without feeling like I’m pushing you to buy something.
Here are the gifts that I’m giving this year
Gift for the boys
Santa only brings three gifts to each of the boys. We do this for two reasons: to limit the amount of presents we buy, and to teach our kids a little about the “reason for the season”. We figure if Jesus got three gifts from the wise men, then Santa can do the same. Here is what Santa is bringing this year:
We ordered this great soccer goal from Amazon to give to Robert.
Jackson will get his own tennis racket that I bought from Target.
Each of the boys will get a fun Star Wars figure that I bought used from Twinkle Twinkle Little Store (Jackson got to play with them a little early- I don’t think he will remember).
Both boys will get their own Kindles too! I debated on this one because I know they don’t need it, however I got them on Black Friday for $33! Plus I had a gift card so they were only $22 each. I couldn’t pass it up.
The boys will also get a few items from us. Here is what they will be getting:
Legos for Robert
From 12/5 to 12/10 you can get Legos 20% off at Target in store and online. I bought mine online here.Get 20% off #Legos at #Target http://goto.target.com/c/291436/330218/2092 Click To Tweet
Pajamas and books for Jackson
I try to keep stocking stuffers practical. That’s why the boys will be getting new cups, only one thing of candy, and some Crazy Foam for the bath. I’m most excited about the Crazy Foam because they loved it so much during Halloween.
I also put aside a bunch of random freebies from blog conferences this year to put in their stockings. I think they will get a kick out of all this stuff.
I have several SIC cups and love them. I’m going to give these to my parents, inlaws, and sisters. Another reason I’m a fan is because my friends own the company! I love not only supporting a Florida based small business, but also my friends!
Artists in Bali hand carve water buffalo bone into these amazing bracelets. I love knowing that by purchasing these bracelets, families in Bali have dependable work. Bracelets start at $18 and make great gifts! My peace loving sisters are going to look so great wearing these.
I give my mother in law a photo calendar from Shutterfly every single Christmas. She loves it! I love it because it’s so easy to make and they always have amazing deals. Want to learn more about Shutterfly deals? Read my most popular post: How to get the best Shutterfly deals.
I love this stuff so much! This is by far the best jerky I’ve ever had. I love it so much that it’s hard for me to give it away. I kind of want to keep it for myself. Instead, I’m going to use them as stocking stuffers for my family.
Presents for the hubby
Sleep Number Pillow
I got the pillow pictured above a few years ago free for a blog review. I love it so much that I spent money to buy another one for Tom. He’s always trying to steal mine! Now he can have his own.
I’m also going to buy him cufflinks and collar stays from Men’s Warehouse for stocking stuffers. He’ll get lots of jerky too!
Gift cards: My little brother is so tough to shop for that I’m going to get him a gift card to Dick’s Sporting Goods.
PayPal shopping: I also have a few last minute gifts to buy through PayPal. Did you know they support small business owners? I’m going to buy some artisanal foods this afternoon! I’ll give you an update on that later next week.
Chick-fil-A Calendar: I gift this to myself every year! It’s the perfect stocking stuffer.
Are you finished with Christmas shopping yet?
