It is possible to make money as a stay at home mom. You really can find jobs that you can do as a stay at home mom. No, I’m not talking about taking surveys or shopping for rebates. I’m talking about real jobs that allow you to make real money as a stay at home mom while taking care of your kids. Sounds too good to be true, right?

I love being a stay at home mom. It’s by far the best job I’ve ever had. The bosses can be a little demanding, but all in all, it’s a good gig. While I love everything about staying home, I’ve missed the paycheck of a regular job. Over the last few years I’ve found a some great ways to make an extra income without working a 9-5 job.
If I can do it, you can too.
How to Make Money as a Stay at Home Mom
Here are 7 ways to make money as a stay at home mom. I know moms who make real money doing each of these jobs. I myself make money through blogging, social media marketing, and odd jobs.
1. Sell stuff on Amazon
Yup, you can sell stuff on Amazon. I have friends that do this and they really do make money! Learn from the pros by taking The Selling Family’s course. Get all the info here.
2. Teach work out classes
Do you go to the gym with your little ones? Imagine getting paid to work out! It’s pretty easy to get certified to teach fitness classes. Did you know I’m certified to teach barre classes? It only took $100 and a month’s worth of work and I was certified! If you are interested, ask your gym what certifications they accept and then follow the steps to get certified.
3. Start a blog
It’s taken a while for me to make money blogging, but it’s finally happening. Plenty of people make good money blogging. I actually know bloggers who make $30,000 a month. Yes, a month! 4. Become a social media influencer
This one doesn’t always pay. Sometimes I only get free stuff, but sometimes I get paid a lot. My latest social media influencer campaign is paying $700 for a total of 12 social media shares. Not bad, right?

5. Work odd jobs
This one can be hard, but if you really need money, let people know that you are available for odd jobs. Check out Fiver, sell something on Etsy, become a virtual assistant or watch other people’s kids.
6. Work at a co-op
Several stores and farms in my area pay people in product. It’s a cool way to get food or products without spending money!
7, Direct sales
While I’ve never found a product I love enough to sell, many of my friends do well with direct sales. Check out my direct sales series to learn more about the pros and cons.
8. Work at night for Uber or Lyft
If you really need to make some extra money, try heading to work at night for a few hours when your partner comes home. Uber, Uber Eats, and Lyft are great ways to make some extra income.
