I’m still coming to terms with the fact that back to school season is here. School officially starts next week here in Southwest Florida. Luckily I still have a few weeks with my boys since they don’t start preschool until after Labor Day.
Speaking of Labor Day, my actual labor day will be around that time. For that reason, I’m knocking out all our back to school shopping now, including teacher gifts. My baby bump is measuring big so we have reason to believe that he will come early. I don’t want to wait too long to get all my shopping completed!
When I was doing our back to school shopping at Target, I picked up these awesome pens and markers. FriXion Erasable ColorSticks and FriXion Erasable Colors Marker Pens write smoothly and erase cleanly without any wear and tear to the paper, or messy eraser shavings. Seriously, they erase really well! I was shocked.
I feel like they are the perfect replacement for traditional pens, pencils and markers. I’ve always been a pencil fan so I could erase. Now I’m an erasable pen fan! I already packed these in my own bag. The science nerd in me likes this info: the heat generated by erasing FriXion causes the unique thermo-sensitive ink to become clear, and the writing to disappear from the page.

Since I like these pens and markers so much, I knew I had to make them part of a back to school teacher gift. As a former teacher, I know that you can never have too many cool pens and markers. You can have too many coffee mugs!
I paired the pens with notebooks, tied them in twine, and added a cute gift tag that I made.
I made one for my 4 year old and another for my 2 year old to take to their teachers on the first day of preschool.
Pick up the FriXion ColorSticks: 10 colors and FriXion Colors Erasable Marker Pens: 12 colors only at Target. You can find them in both the stationary and back to school sections.
Will you be doing gifts for teachers this year? If so, what will you be giving?
