Strawberry Lemon Daiquiri Recipe
Just because I only live 2 miles from the beach doesn’t mean I’m always living the beach life. In fact, I don’t even enjoy sitting in the sun and baking all day. I’m pale, I burn easily, and I just don’t like being in the sun all day long. I end up feeling drained and overheated.
What I do love is sitting under an umbrella with a nice frozen concoction watching the sunset. I live for early mornings and evenings on the beach.
Even though I can hop over to the beach easily, we don’t do it as much as we should. Life with 3 kids gets busy!
If you’re like me and don’t get to enjoy the sand between your toes as much as you’d like, just make a fun drink at home and bring the beach to you. This Strawberry lemon daiquiri recipe is the perfect way to get in the beach mood, even if you can’t actually be on the beach.
It’s easy! Start with frozen strawberries.
Add in lemon juice, rum, ice, and lemon lime soda and blend well.
I’m a huge fan of using a Vitamix for my daiquiri recipes. Wayfair has a great selection of Vitamix blenders, starting with this one that I have.
Once you’ve blended it well, pour into a water goblet like pictured, or go big and pour your strawberry lemon daiquiri into a daiquiri glass. Check out these sets from Wayfair, both are on sale right now: water goblets, daiquiri glasses
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 3 large ice cubes
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1/2 cup rum
- splash of lemon lime soda
- Place ingredients into a blender and blend well. Enjoy!
Whether you’re heading to the beach or relaxing at home, this strawberry lemon daiquiri recipe is sure to get you excited about the warmer months ahead.
