I think we all know by now that recycling just isn’t enough legwork to help the planet. I’m always searching for ways to reduce waste and to reuse materials, which is why I’m so excited about Bambu.

Bambu has several different lines of products, all of which are sustainable and eco-friendly and will help you reduce waste. Most products that Bambu makes is made of — you guessed it! — bamboo! Bamboo is one of the most sustainable materials available and to see it being utilized in the kitchen is amazing.
Not only are the products sustainable for the earth, they are sustainable when it comes to fair labor practices and safe working conditions.
These products are organic, sturdy and durable, as well as beautiful. Bambu offers so many bamboo products for cooking and serving. Cutting boards, serving and prep utensils and more. I love their line of kids utensils, as well. You can give your kids utensils that you know are sustainable and organic!
Bambu encourages their products to be taken on the road (or the great outdoors) when traveling, which I love. Having just taken a road trip, I know first hand how important it is to have reusable straws and utensils on hand. I also love their compostable plates, since I have a passion for composting and think it’s another fantastic way to be eco-friendly. In fact, technically all of their products are compostable since cork and bamboo both break down eventually!
I love the fact that there are disposable plates made from certified-organic, renewable bamboo. Imagine having a potluck, picnic, party or just a lazy dinner on plates that you can then toss into your compost bin!

Oh this is an exciting giveaway! My favorite zero waste practices are not using disposable kitchen items, or reusing them as often as possible. And I recently just bought some rubber straws. Oh, and we compost :)
We used reusable containers and a bamboo fork and spoon for lunches this year.
I was using a bamboo toothbrush for a while. The wood in my mouth was a bit of an adjustment, but overall I liked it.
