I feel like reviewing eco-friendly products could be a full time job! So many products on the market claim to be eco-friendly and effective, but few truly check both boxes. Talk about greenwashing! No need to keep searching for eco-friendly laundry and dish detergent. I’ve tried a ton of green cleaning products and Earth Breeze is officially the only detergent brand I use and recommend.
What is Earth Breeze?
Earth Breeze makes eco-friendly cleaning products and is best known for laundry sheets: flat sheets of laundry detergent that make overdosing your washing machine a thing of the past.
I love that the company strives to make the planet a priority through regeneration efforts, redistribution efforts to people in need, and partnerships with One Percent for the Planet as well as We Are Neutral.
Why I Choose Earth Breeze Over Other Brands
First off, I love Earth Breeze because the laundry sheets work so well. I have three young boys who are always getting dirty. I have no problem cleaning the dirt out of their clothes with Earth Breeze.
The reason I keep going back to Earth Breeze is because I’m completely obsessed with the dish detergent.
When I first heard of Earth Breeze I wasn’t completely sold on a delivery service for laundry sheets.
Did I like it? Sure!
But did I need yet another subscription service in my life? I wasn’t convinced.
At least that is until I tried the products.
On top of detergents, Earth Breeze also sells paper towel replacements, tote bags and multi-surface cleaner eco-sheets. See all the products here.
Earth Breeze Laundry Sheets Review
If you haven’t already tried laundry sheets, then you have to! It is a total game changer.
I’ve been using various brands of laundry sheets for a couple of years now and absolutely love the ease. Laundry sheets are physically lighter, plastic free, and easily dissolve in water to effectively clean your clothes.
Some reviews online state that laundry sheets don’t work as well as traditional laundry detergent. This really isn’t a deal breaker for me since I’ve always opted for eco-friendly cleaning products. If you’re used to standard detergents then you may notice a difference. However, since I’ve only ever used eco-friendly detergents I’ve found that Earth Breeze performs just as well if not better than other brands.

Earth Breeze Power Pebbles Dishwasher Tablets Review
The plastic free packaging is what first sold me on the Power Pebbles. The fact that they actually work well is why I became an Earth Breeze subscription member.
The pebbles are similar to the dishwashing pods, but instead of being liquid, the pebbles are made of powder. I was hesitant at first, but darn, these things work so well. The little plastic wrapping around them isn’t actually plastic! It is plant based and dissolves in the dishwasher!
It is nearly impossible to find a true zero waste dishwashing detergent unless you make your own or buy in bulk from a zero waste shop so discovering Power Pebbles has made my eco-friendly life so much easier.
Shop Earth Breeze Power Pebbles:
- Earth Breeze Power Pebbles retail for $28 for 2 packs of 30
- Or subscribe and bring price down to $25.20!

Another great way to save money on Earth Breeze is to buy a year supply of laundry sheets for $119! That’s as low as 17 cents a load! Pretty incredible.
How do Earth Breeze products compare in price to other laundry sheets?
When you subscribe to Earth Breeze then the price is pretty comparable to other laundry sheet brands- as low as 17 cents a load.
At first glance, Earth Breeze seems to be a little more expensive, but when you compare the amount of sheets in a container with other brands, you are getting an okay bang for your buck.
Of course, the cheapest way to do laundry detergent is to make your own. However, I’ve been warned that newer washing machines don’t process the homemade stuff as well as the old school machines. My homemade stuff never worked that well so I ditched it a few year back.
While laundry sheets are more expensive than traditional laundry detergent, it’s a cost I’m willing to pay. I’m a firm believer in “voting with your dollars”. I believe that every purchase is a vote for the type of world you want to live in. You can learn more about this approach here.

I think I’m convinced to try Earth Breeze now. But, I’ve heard that cold water cycles in the washing machine produce far less carbon emissions than hot cycles, but not all detergents work well in cold water. What do you think about Earth Breeze in cold water? Which action might have lower environmental impact- changing detergents or changing to cold water? I’d love to know!
I’m going to have to run a cycle on cold with the intention of seeing if the detergent works as well. I’ll keep you posted AND update the post once I have some data!
