Have you ever wondered when is the best time to buy certain items? I know I have! This series of blog posts is to help you figure out what items are at their cheapest prices each month. At the beginning of every month I’ll post what items you should be buying. Of course, only buy if you are seriously in the market. You can’t save money if you’re spending it! Here is the March edition of Best Time to Buy.
Chocolate
Yup, it’s still a great time to grab those clearance Valentine’s Day chocolates!
Winter Coats and Sweaters
Stores are making way for spring clothing and getting rid of all the winter wear. Now is the best time to grab a nice coat for next winter. You may still be able to use it this year with all the cold weather we’ve been having!
Tax Software Deals
Keep an eye out for deals from H&R Block and Turbo Tax. This is the last month to find the best deals as they hike them up in April when everyone is getting them last minute.
Golf Clubs
New models come out over the summer so spring is the perfect time to invest in a new club or set.
Luggage
Going somewhere for Spring Break? Pick up your luggage now! This time of year is considered to be an in between season for traveling and you can find luggage marked down to very low prices.
Jewelry
Valentine’s Day rush is over and retailers don’t pick up the prices again until Mother’s Day. If you’re looking for a ring for a special someone, now is the time.
Air Conditioners
Anytime in winter is a good time to purchase a new AC unit. If you’re in the market, don’t wait until summer when the prices go up.

Now it’s your turn! Did I miss anything? Let me know and I’ll add it!
I never think of this, but there are definitely cycles to sales that predictable. The air conditioner is a kicker, I always buy mine in the Summer when I am sweating and can’t take it anymore! Luckily we are all set for this Summer, but when I think back to every time I’ve bought one it’s been at the wrong time!
I think we’ve all made mistakes like that! We never tend to notice we need something until it is the wrong time and then you have to have it. I’m pretty sure we bought our last AC at the worst possible time, but that was the time it decided to die.
