I’m in the third trimester which means, the countdown to baby #3 is on! Aside from all the normal nesting and baby prep, I’m also making sure I’m stocked up on coffee before he gets here.
We don’t need much this time around because of the two older boys. I’ve also received a ton of hand me downs from good friends. All I need now is to find a pack n play, make a few freezer meals, prep my cloth diapers, and make sure I have plenty of snacks, drinks, and coffee on hand.
It’s only fitting that I’m stocking up on MAX Indulge by MAXWELL HOUSE because….
…we’ve decided to name the baby Maxwell, Max for short.
Everyone asks, “like the coffee?”, and I’m like, “Yup, mama likes coffee”.
Remember the time I went to Jacksonville and got to see the first MAXWELL HOUSE roastery? Even that made me happy! And I wasn’t even pregnant yet!
So when I saw that MAXWELL has a new coffee out called MAX, I had to have it. I picked it up at Walmart in the coffee aisle.
There are two flavors: Mocha S’mores and Mocha Salted Caramel. Of course, I had to go for the caramel!
Due to the pregnancy I’m only drinking a tiny bit of caffeine*, maybe half a cup a day. I know I’ll continue to have less caffeine than usual during breastfeeding, which is why it’s really nice to have this instant coffee option. I can add as little or as much powder as I’d like!
The best part about all of this is that I’m going to save a ton of money by avoiding coffee shops. While I love my coffee pots (yes multiple), I like the easy of being able to make this quickly. We all know I’m going to need a boost of energy fast once little Max gets here.
My littles already have me up at 5:30 every morning. I can’t imagine how much more tired I’ll be getting up in the middle of the night too!

Yayy from a another mom who cloth diapers. I love Maxwell house coffee by the way and it is adorable that you have chosen that name. Coming back to the cloth diapers. I so wish I had a newborn squish to buy some more newborn fluff.

Anything coffee sounds good to me and anything salted caramel mocha gets even more of my love. I’ve never been into instant coffee so much (I’m an espresso junkie and have been for YEARS), but I’m not opposed to trying something new if it makes my life a little easier!
Oh yes! I love my espresso too! I made them religiously before I had my first son, then switched on making them only on weekends, now it’s a rare treat because I don’t have the time. I miss them though!
