Pizza Sliders
The first ingredient is to find soft and delicious bread. King’s Hawaiian has a variety of products that make lunchtime fun. Since the flavor of the bread is so unique, you can make anything from sweet recipes to savory dishes. When you stock up on school lunch ideas, look for King’s Hawaiian. I love how they stay fresh and they fit so perfectly in our bento lunch boxes. Are you ready to make your own slider? Let’s get started!
We used King’s Hawaiian Original Hawaiian Sweet Rolls, and pizza sauce, pepperoni, and mozzarella cheese slices. There are so many ways to customize this from adding extra cheese to your child’s favorite veggies. Pile it high! I like to melt the cheese before packing it in the lunchbox by putting it in the microwave for a few seconds. This part is optional though, but there is nothing better than a warm slider with gooey mozzarella cheese!
I chose a savory option so it would be a filling lunch idea for my children. I love that King’s Hawaiian is easy to find and simple to cook with. You can use them for a variety of recipes, and they can make mealtime special! My children enjoy the soft bread and can eat them plain if I let them!
Bonus: the sliders fit perfectly in our reusable lunch containers. They are the perfect lunch boxes, and we love to plan what goes in each box.
