Summer entertaining is officially here. Make the most of it with this easy summer cocktail recipe for patriotic popsicles in champagne. If you like popsicles and you like champagne, then this is your go-to summer drink. Check out how easy it is to make this refreshing summer cocktail.
How to Make a Patriotic Popsicle Champagne Cocktail
The beauty of this summer champagne cocktail really is the simplicity. There are only two steps:
- Pour champagne
- Add popsicle
Obviously you can do this with any flavor popsicle, but why not go patriotic for the summer? This is the best recipe for a Fourth of July drink, Memorial Day cocktail, and even a Labor Day refreshment. You can even enjoy it in between all the patriotic holidays.
I’m also loving it because it’s fun for the kids and non-drinkers too. Can’t have the patriotic popsicle champagne? Just eat the popsicle! I love having options at parties that aren’t water. I even think this would be fun in a seltzer water.
To save money I used the Trader Joe’s sparkling wine and bought the popsicles at Walmart. Overall, each drink is less than $2. Not a bad way to serve a signature summer cocktail at your next party, right?
