How to Make a Patriotic Popsicle Champagne Cocktail

The beauty of this summer champagne cocktail really is the simplicity. There are only two steps:

  1. Pour champagne
  2. Add popsicle

Obviously you can do this with any flavor popsicle, but why not go patriotic for the summer? This is the best recipe for a Fourth of July drink, Memorial Day cocktail, and even a Labor Day refreshment. You can even enjoy it in between all the patriotic holidays.

I’m also loving it because it’s fun for the kids and non-drinkers too. Can’t have the patriotic popsicle champagne? Just eat the popsicle! I love having options at parties that aren’t water. I even think this would be fun in a seltzer water.

To save money I used the Trader Joe’s sparkling wine and bought the popsicles at Walmart. Overall, each drink is less than $2. Not a bad way to serve a signature summer cocktail at your next party, right?
