Friend, I can’t stress this statement enough. You are worthy just the way you are. You’re financial worth is by no means a reflection of your self worth. You are worth more.
This quicker you understand this and believe it, the quicker you will be able to find the confidence to save money. Once you realize that money doesn’t make you worthy of love an belonging, you will be able to break free from unintentional spending.

How Confidence Can Help You Save Money
Honesty
If you are confident enough to own up to your financial situation, then you won’t have problems being honest with your friends and family when you don’t want to (or can’t) spend money.
Real friends won’t judge you if you are honest about not wanting to spend money on a night out. Honesty can save you a lot of money. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard stories from my friends about how they spent too much money doing things to keep up with their friends. If you don’t have the money to spend, be honest. I promise that if you are confident, it won’t be a hard conversation.
Clothing
A little bit of confidence can go a long way with clothing. These days, anything is trendy if you can enough confidence while wearing it. The only thing that isn’t trendy is spending money you don’t have on fashionable clothes you can’t afford.

Buy clothes you actually like instead of buying clothes that society tells you to wear. Love fashion? You can still be fashionable without spending a fortune. Check out consignment stores, ThredUp, and Cents of Style.
Shopping
Same thing goes here as it did for clothing. Don’t buy home decor and other items just because you think it’s trendy.
Buy things because you love them and they bring you joy.
Stop letting magazines, bloggers, media, and society trick you into thinking you need things that you don’t actually need.

Here is a personal example: I rarely spend money on material possessions. They don’t bring me happiness. Instead I spend my money on food, travel, and experiences with my family. Because of this, money actually brings me happiness. This doesn’t mean you have to be like me. It means that if you find out what makes you happy, you can spend you money on those things and let money bring you happiness as well!
