I am a Stitch Fix influencer, and this post has been sponsored by Stitch Fix. All opinions are mine alone, in fact, I wrote about my love for Stitch Fix even before becoming an influencer!

What is Stitch Fix
Just in case you don’t know about Stitch Fix, it’s a personal styling service where stylists learn what you like and then send you clothes you’ll love. Stitch Fix carries women’s sizes 0-24W and XS-3X, maternity and petite, and men’s sizes XS-XXL. You pay a $20 styling fee (but you can get a $25 credit here) which applies towards anything you keep. If you keep all five pieces, you get a 25% discount on your entire purchase! If you decide you don’t like anything, returns are easy and free. Just drop the pre-paid shipping bag off at any USPS mailbox.
Why I think Stitch Fix is worth the money
If you’re a regular reader, you know how cheap I can be. You also know that I’m pretty environmentally friendly when it comes to buying clothes. I like fair trade and eco-friendly products, and try my best to get a lot of my clothes used.
In a perfect world I’d be able to spend time shopping for the best clothes at the best prices. In reality, I’m a work-from-home mom of three who doesn’t always ever have the time to shop.
With Stitch Fix, the time consuming process of shopping is cut out, and all I have to do is try on the clothes and send back what I don’t like.
What I really love about Stitch Fix is the prices. Items start as low as $20! I’m a huge fan of the fact that they carry sustainable clothing at reasonable prices. It’s amazing that I can get high quality, sustainable clothes at such low prices while also saving time! I was able to get each of the outfits shown in this post for under $100 each. What a steal!
Enough about my love for Stitch Fix, let me share my tips with you so you can fall in love too.
How to Fit Stitch Fix into Your Budget and Get Outfits Under $100
1. Be honest with your stylist
When you set up your style profile, you get the opportunity to not only pick the styles you like, but to pick a price range too. It’s probably no surprise to find that I put “the cheaper the better” for all categories.
You also get a chance to write a little information about yourself. It’s okay to be honest about your budget. I told my stylist that I’m a frugal living blogger and now she checks out my blog to learn more about my style!
2. Buy everything in your Stitch Fix to get a 25% discount
This is my favorite tip! If you purchase everything in your box, you get 25% off each item. If you are already asking your stylist for low priced items, it means you can get some really great deals. I bought everything in my last box which made everything in my box $34.80 each!
I ended up keeping a sweater that didn’t fit because it was cheaper with the discount to keep all the items then to send the sweater back! I ended up gifting the sweater to my little sister until I lose the last of my baby weight. Doesn’t she look cute in it? I can’t wait to get it back!
Speaking of baby weight, Stitch Fix has awesome maternity clothes too! They’ve been super helpful with updating my postpartum wardrobe by sending me some amazing pieces that hide my extra pounds.
3. Follow the advice from your stylist
Your stylist will leave you a little note with ideas on how to make outfits from the pieces she sent. I love the personalized notes!
The pictures are helpful too because they help me get inspiration on how to put an outfit together.
4. Pair Stitch Fix clothes with items from your closet
I get so much enjoyment out of mixing a new item from Stitch Fix with something I already own. I love putting together high quality new pieces with something old. It brings the cost of my outfit way down when I do that! Here I am in my new top from Stitch Fix paired with consignment store jeans.
3 outfits under $100
I was able to buy everything in my box for under $164. That’s 5 pieces total for $164 or $34.80 per piece. That’s a great deal! It’s pretty great to be able to get 3 outfits that each cost less than $100.
Not only do I love the great deals on quality clothes, I love stepping out of my comfort zone. I never would have been tempted to try on this dress with embroidery, but when I put it on I loved it. Check out this gorgeous handiwork.

I’ve never tried Stitch Fix but I love the idea of clothes being delivered right to my door (I never have time to shop either!) I’ll definitely have to check them out!
You should definitely try it for free while you can! It’s so much fun! I know you’d love it since you are so fashionable.
I like this idea of stitch fix which will save our time of shopping and also provide the styling tips.
I love Stitch Fix but cancelled once I quit my job this summer to stay home with the kiddos. I may need to try it again. Thanks for the tips!
I know that feeling! I cut out so many expenses when I quit my job. We literally lived off of rice, beans, and mushrooms!
I hate hate hate shopping. Always have. After two kids, my wardrobe is non-existent, so I’ve been doing stitch fix for a couple of months and love that I can rebuild without thinking about clothes, shopping, hauling kids or finding someone to watch them, or even leave the house. And they do a surprisingly good job of fitting.
I also love that they remember what I’ve already bought. My stylist will give me tips on which pieces will go together to make a great outfit. It takes out all the pressure of putting together an outfit.
