Daily routines for kids are incredibly important. Routines help kids establish good habits such as brushing teeth and can help kids learn time management. Help your little ones establish a routine by making your own printable daily routine checklist. If you don’t want to make your own, you can download the one in the post instead!

Why I made my own printable daily routine checklist for kids

We are only on week 2 of coronavirus social distancing and this extrovert is already going a little stir crazy!

How are you doing?

Look at me. I’m trying to have a conversation with you through a blog post. Isolation is not my favorite.

Anyway, back to why I made my own printable daily routine checklist for my kids. I made this because our daily routine has changed big time due to coronavirus. I know things will eventually feel normal, but right now, everything feels so strange and new. I can’t imagine how crazy this change feels to a kid!

Since I know that kids thrive on routine I immediately made a routine/ daily schedule for our kids.

This schedule is great for me, but I don’t expect my 3 kids- ages 6, 4, and 2- to refer to my schedule complicated schedule to know what to do next.

To make this transition easier for them, I made a checklist of things that they need to do every single day before they can have technology time. I printed it, laminated it, and let them check off the list every time they finish something.

I bought mine at Walmart for less than $20 on sale. It has been one of the best purchases I’ve made with kids. I laminate almost every printable I make in order to extend the life.

Here is a list of other reasonable priced laminators that you might like too.

I don’t know about you, but I often times get frustrated when I search the internet for printables. I usually have a very specific idea in my head and can rarely find what I need.

That is why I love making my own printables.

Need recommendations on a great printer? I love this one—-> HP All in One Printer

The really cool thing about technology these days is that anyone can make their own printable if you have access to a printer.

I love to use Canva to make printables like this because it is free and accessible online. As much as I love software like Photoshop and InDesign, I really love free online products!

Checklists are so much fun! The best part for the kids (and me) is checking things off! We have our checklist made and ready for the day. :-) Thanks for sharing!
