Have you ever wondered what to do with your kid’s tiny old toys? Turn them into a fun DIY Christmas ornament and keep the memories forever! I’m loving this tutorial for turning an old toy into a Christmas ornament.
How to turn old toys into Christmas ornaments
I’ll never have a picture perfect Christmas tree. Our tree is full of memories, so much so that it is more like a scrapbook than a Christmas tree. I love looking at all the ornaments on our tree because each one is tied to a specific memory.
Our latest ornament creation is an old toy turned into an ornament. The boys loved watching it turn into a Christmas ornament. They seem to enjoy the idea of adding their own memories to our Christmas tree.
This ornament was so easy to make. Check out the video tutorial:
All you do is drill into an old plastic or wooden toy, stick an eye hole screw into the hole, and tie a ribbon through it. It couldn’t be easier if you tried! Seriously, it only took us a couple minutes. How about that for an easy Christmas craft?
Have you ever wanted to make your own ornaments? I have 125+ ideas for how to make your own! Head here to get some inspiration.
