Time for another edition of Food Waste Friday. I’ve been environmentally conscious about food waste since I was in college, and this is a great way for me to keep tabs on what we waste in our house. Every Friday I blog about the food we wasted. Learn more about ways to decrease food waste in this post and this post.

Food Waste Friday

Sometimes I’m motivated enough to share a recipe. I wish today was one of those days. Both babies have had snotty noses so I’m struggling to find time to put this post together. I did, however, find time to figure out what to do with all those cherry tomatoes from last week.

I roasted them in the oven until they popped, then I put them through the Vitamix. I’ve been using them in soups all week. I love it! Our soups taste so much better than when we use canned tomatoes. I think I’m going to do this more often.

No nice DSLR picture for you today. This is all I have.

Here is what we wasted this week.

How did you do this week? Did you waste any food? Any good saves?
