This is part of a hosted visit, but all opinions are my own.
I can’t express how happy I am that Metro Diner has opened up a location in Naples. This Jacksonville favorite has been so popular over the last 25 years that there are now locations all over Florida and 8 other states.
My family and I first visited a Metro Diner while vacationing in Jacksonville.
When I got the opportunity to check out the new Naples location, I jumped at the chance. I mean, who doesn’t want to eat chicken and waffles with strawberry butter? Seriously though, who doesn’t love this stuff? As a Southern native, I can’t understand why people wouldn’t want to eat chicken and waffles.
It is especially good with the hot sauce syrup! You really can’t go wrong with hot sauce on chicken. I didn’t get a chance to try the breakfast burrito or the Yo Halla On the Square challah French toast because I was so full, but don’t they look amazing?
I did get a chance to attempt to finish the biggest plate of biscuits and gravy I’ve ever seen in my life. Not only is this the most biscuits and gravy I’ve ever seen, it comes with eggs and hash browns too!
I ate a quarter of this and was so full that I had to pack it up to take home to my mom and sister. For the record, my mom says this sausage gravy is the best she has ever had. She’s from the south so she knows her gravy!
Metro Diner also has a selection of breakfast sandwiches. John SR’s Breakfast Sandwich is the one I got to see. Two eggs over medium, Swiss cheese, bacon, tomatoes and mayo on eight grain toast never looked so good!
If you love breakfast as much as I do, you’ve got to head into Metro Diner to get your fix. Breakfast is served all day, but they serve lunch and dinner until 8. Like to brunch? They serve mimosas too!
Just went and loved it! I’ll have to try their biscuits and gravy next time!
Yes! You’ll love it!
