If you’ve been following along on social media, then you know that I spent my weekend in Orlando at the Sip and Mingle Conference. I had so much fun, and came home with two great special offers for you that I just had to put a blog post together.

What is the #SipAndMingle Conference?

The Sip and Mingle Conference is the brain child of Tara, from Tara Met Blog, and Mandy, from Simple and Pretty Co. They are marketing geniuses and love to share their knowledge with other bloggers and influencers. They’ve been hosting networking events across the state of Florida over the last year. These events have been so well received that the two of them decided to start their own conference where bloggers and influencers can delve deeper into topics.

The first Sip and Mingle Conference was held this past weekend at The Fairfield Inn and Suites UCF Orlando. I loved it so much that I truly hope these two girls keep it going!

We spent the day learning, then had a fabulous after party with some wine from Wine Society and hard kombucha from Flying Embers.

If you’ve never tried hard kombucha, I think you need to try it! It tastes just like kombucha!

I was a Speaker at the Sip and Mingle Conference!

That’s right! Yours truly spoke about authenticity.

Be fearlessly authentic

In case you missed it, I wrote an e-book on authentic blogging called The Authentic Blog Project.

After nearly 10 years of blogging, I’ve made all. the. mistakes. Seriously, all of them. I’ve been banned from Twitter before, shadow banned on Instagram, and put in Google jail. If you don’t know what any of that means, good for you. All you need to know is that I’ve made some bad decisions that have cost me a lot of money.

Why did I make those bad decisions? Because I was listening to other bloggers. I did what they told me to do instead of following my own instincts.

That’s what I talked about at the conference. I shared my own journey, my own mistakes, and my own victories. I now blog authentically and still make thousands of dollars each month. To make it even better, I’m working less and loving what I do so much more.

I had so much fun sharing my story with 30 other bloggers and influencers. A big thanks to Tara and Mandy for letting me speak.

If you want to learn more, head here to buy the book! I give step by step directions on how to blog authentically in a way that will have brands begging to work with you.

I Have Goodies for YOU!

Every time I go to a conference, I come home with so many goodies. Brands love to give freebies to bloggers in swag bags. However, this is the first time I’ve ever seen so many generous brands that want to share the goods with my readers!

Here is a discounts for you from the Sip and Mingle Conference:

The Swag and Sponsors

I’ve never in my life written a blog or social media post with a shout out to conference sponsors. I either don’t have time or am not impressed. This time I still don’t have time, but I’m so impressed with all the sponsors that came together for this event.

Check out the swag bag.

I loved snacking on the Gutsii chocolate during the conference! It’s a prebiotic chocolate. How cool, right?

I haven’t had time to try the Azuca hemp simple syrup or the Elixicure hemp pain relief roll on, but I’m excited to try it. Keep an eye on my Instagram stories for my thoughts on these products!

All of the Tervis water bottles were adorable too!

I did love trying out VictoriaLand Beauty and Color Street Nails  from Gina at Nailed in the City. Who knew I actually liked being so girly?

If you are a content creator in any way, you must find a tribe to help you navigate these crazy waters. If you can’t make it to a Sip and Mingle, make sure to find another conference or networking event. We need each other!
