It is possible to throw a Super Bowl party on a budget. All you have to do is follow these Super Bowl party hacks to save you money and you’ll not only be the hostess with the most, but you’ll save a ton of cash too!
Super Bowl Party Hacks to Save You Money
Make Utensil Caddie from Cans
These utensil caddies from Rust and Sunshine are such a great idea for reusing your cans. I also think they would look great with flowers in them. You could do this by painting them or using construction paper and a paint pen.
Print Out Your Own Games
Don’t get fooled into buying games from a party store. Make your own! Better yet, print out some that have already been made for you like these from Style Me Pretty.
Serve Inexpensive Snacks
Save on snacks by serving popcorn, nachos, and veggies with dips. Don’t be afraid to make it a potluck!
Skip the Themed Plates
Skip the themed napkins and paper plates which are pricier than the plain ones. Either use your regular dishes and plain napkins or buy a neutral colored set like these that can go with everything. Splurge on table cloths and centerpieces instead. This way you aren’t stuck with a few extra football themed plates for months. If you are a sucker for the themed plates and you have plenty of storage, make sure to snag some right after the Super Bowl and hold onto them for next year. They will be dirt cheap at the party stores come February 2nd!
Make Your Own Centerpiece
Make an edible centerpiece, use flowers, or do both. Don’t spend money making a centerpiece that you can only use during the super bowl. I love this football helmet fruit salad and these flowers.
I think you could print out an image of a football and add it to the outside of the vase to get a similar effect.

What are your favorite party hacks for the Super Bowl? Do you have any fun traditions? I’d love to hear them!
We get chicken wings at the in-laws. We do put the game on, but it’s mostly just an excuse for wings…
Yum! I love wings! I’d be totally okay with eating lots of yummy food with the game in the background. I hope you enjoy your wings this year!
