Too many blogging courses

When I started blogging in 2010, I had no clue how to get started. There were no courses or books with helpful hints on how to start a blog or how to monetize one. I had to wade through the trenches to figure it all out. Ruth Soukup’s How to Blog for Profit without Selling Your Soul didn’t even come out until 2013. I wish I’d had all the resources that are out there today.

The only problem is that today there are too many blogging courses out there. It’s hard to figure out which class is worth the money. To make it even harder, there are too many blogging ebooks to read and email lists to join. If you aren’t careful you can end up with an information overload, not to mention an inbox that is filled with too many actionable steps to learn how to blog.

I want to save you the trouble that I went through with building my blog. That’s why I’m sharing information on the only blogging course you’ll ever need.

The only blogging course you’ll ever need

I joined the Billionaire Blogging Club (BBC) last Christmas on a whim when one of my favorite bloggers recommended it. I think I joined BBC for less than $100 because there was a huge Christmas sale.

I’m not usually one to buy blogging courses. Since I’ve been around for a while it doesn’t make sense for me to buy courses unless it’s specific to teaching me something new. To date, I’ve only bought Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing, and it’s definitely paid for itself.

I don’t know what made me buy BBC. But for some reason I did, and man, it’s been the best decision I’ve made blogging.

Why BBC is the best blogging course

BBC is so great because it’s more than a course, it’s a network. When you join you get the following:

Access to a members only messaging system in Slack

If BBC is so great, why am I just now telling you about it?

To be honest, I hate selling stuff to my audience. I know I should get better at selling things to all of you, but I feel scammy when I do it!

With BBC, it’s too good of a chance to pass up so I definitely don’t feel scammy telling you about it. Paul Scrivs, the creator of BBC, realizes that he has a pretty good thing going on and that people are willing and able to pay him even more money to be a part of this tribe. That’s why he’s going to up the price of the course to over $1K pretty soon.

Before he does that, he’s going to open it up tomorrow for $397. Each time he opens the course, the price goes up. If you missed out last time, now is the time to buy!

I know this is a lot of money to pay for a course, but let’s put this in perspective. The only other blogging course that can even remotely compete is Elite Blog Academy with Ruth Soukup which is currently $897. While I’ve never taken EBA so I can’t compare them, I do know that I like the community that Scrivs has built in BBC.
