Personally, I’ve never been a fan of dining out on Valentine’s Day. There are too many people out and it’s so crowded in restaurants. Even though I’m not a huge fan of going out on Valentine’s Day, I do still love the excuse for a good date night. Sure, the title says the ideas are for college students, but this thirty something year old mama likes these ideas too! The ideas are a little more “out there” and fun because everything is more fun in college, right?

My favorite one from this list is to stop by all the open houses in your area. This is something that Tom and I still do even though we have no intention of moving any time soon!

Oh, and she suggests board games too, but she suggests you add a twist to it: strip board games. Everything really was more fun in college.

23 Cheap and Free Date Night Ideas

I almost didn’t include this list of 23 Ridiculously Cheap and Free Date Night Ideas from The Krazy Coupon Lady  because it’s pretty obvious that every single suggestion she makes is some sort of affiliate link. As a blogger myself, I know when a blogger is trying to sell me something. Even though I don’t want to buy anything she is selling, the ideas are still good ones.

My favorite from this list is to grab a blanket and look at constellations together. How romantic!

I love this title, 11 Date Nights for When You’re Both Broke from Bustle, because it’s so real. Sometimes you’re just too broke to pay for a date. This isn’t an ultimate list with anything crazy, but the ideas are still good.

I’m a fan of the nature walk idea from this post. We live so close to the beach that we do a lot of sunset beach walks for date nights.
