Why TownePlace Suites is a top choice for an affordable hotel near SeaWorld Orlando
There are many factors that come into play when I review hotels. First, it should be stated that I did stay in this hotel for free in exchange for a review, however all opinions are mine. Just because it was free doesn’t mean I am biased!
Back to what I look for when reviewing hotels. When it comes to affordable family travel, I want to make sure I recommend accommodations that are within reach of the average American but also make you feel like you are on vacation. It can’t just be another cheap hotel near SeaWorld. When I endorse a hotel for family travel, it has to be one that is worth the money.
A stay at TownePlace Suites near Orlando is worth it. As a Marriott hotel, it has fancy accommodations that make you feel like you are on vacation without making you feel like you blew your entire travel budget on a hotel room. This leaves you plenty of money for food, theme parks and souvenirs.
There is a full kitchen
When I look for a hotel near a theme park, I always look for one that has a kitchen, not because I want to cook a meal from scratch, but because I want a full fridge. A full fridge is clutch for several reasons: it allows you to prep easy theme park food for the whole family, and it allows you to bring home leftovers at the end of the day. I can’t tell you how many times we’ve had to throw away food because it won’t fit in the mini fridge in standard hotel rooms.
Free breakfast that actually tastes good
It’s not often that you find a free hotel breakfast that actually tastes good. Yes, the waffles will always be the same, but can you ever really trust the eggs?
Even though I assumed I wouldn’t be able to trust the eggs at the TownePlace Suites, I decided to give them a chance. Turns out the eggs and the sausage are delicious, definitely the best hotel eggs I’ve ever had.
The coffee doesn’t disappoint either!
If you were to compare this to cheap hotels near SeaWorld Orlando you may pay a little less at cheaper places, but still have to buy breakfast. It’s definitely worth a few extra dollars to get a delicious breakfast every morning.
Close to theme parks
The SeaWorld TownePlace Suites are literally across the street from SeaWorld. We could even see it from our hotel room!

It takes about 20 minutes to get to Disney or Universal.
Overall, it’s a very centrally located hotel if you plan to hit up all the theme parks.

What’s not to like about TownePlace Suites near SeaWorld Orlando
Like most families that have more than one child, we find it difficult to squeeze into one room While the hotel touts itself as a suite, there is still only one room. Yes, the full kitchen is a huge perk, but it’s a bit disappointing to still have to share a room with the kids.
Pro Tip: If you have a baby, place the pack in play in the kitchen so you feel like the baby is sleeping in another room.
