This is a fun week in review to write because we’ve had a great week. We took some time out over the long weekend to go on a nice little vacation.
Tom had a conference at The Grande Floridian in Disney World. We’d never stayed there before because we couldn’t handle the cost. Luckily Tom got a great deal through his conference. Check out the view from our room.
Here’s a shot of their kiddie pool area.
We didn’t spend any time in the pool. Instead, we spent most of our time in the park. We did one day at Hollywood Studios and another day at Magic Kingdom.
I think this was our best trip to Disney yet. Both boys are old enough to actually enjoy it now.
On our way home, we stopped by Safari Wilderness. Located only 45 miles away from Disney World, this was a fun adventure to do on the way home.
There are 260 acres of wilderness to explore either through a camel ride or on a safari bus. We chose the bus.
I can’t even tell you what this is, but the boys loved looking at it!
We all got a chance to feed the wildlife while we were on the bus.
The highlight was feeding the lemurs though! What an experience. I want to stop by next time just to feed the lemurs. It was so cool. I’ve never been that close to a lemur before.
Both boys had a blast.
I’ll share more about our experience on Traveling Mom soon. Be on the lookout for it!
Happy Friday! Enjoy your weekend.
