Whipped Cream Dyed Easter Eggs is a Safe Alternative to the Popular Shaving Cream Easter Eggs

We did shaving cream dyed eggs for nearly a decade! I absolutely loved the ease, but I never did let the kids eat the eggs. As a former science teacher I knew that the egg shell is semi-permeable and I just couldn’t stand the idea of my kids eating eggs that had been slathered in shaving cream and food dyes.

Enter Cool Whip Easter eggs. My life forever changed with this Easter hack. Now my kids and I can decorate early in the Easter season and then keep the hardboiled eggs in the fridge for a healthy snack or to make egg salad.
