Need a new healthy snack for yourself or the kids? This almond butter protein balls recipe will be your new staple. With only three ingredients, it’s one of the healthiest and easiest treats that I make for myself and the boys!

3 ingredient almond butter protein balls made with Betsy's Best almond butter

We love nut butters and granola bars

My kids are granola bar junkies. I’m serious, they want to eat them all day everyday. I don’t mind buying granola bars every now and then, but I’d rather make our own snacks that aren’t full of processed sugar. That’s why I love making these yummy almond butter protein balls that are made with Betsy’s Best nut butters.  It’s a healthy snack that my family loves. For this recipe I used her gourmet almond butter with cinnamon and chia seeds. The cinnamon flavor adds so much!

Betsy's Best nut butters

A friend of mine told me about Betsy’s Best a few years ago. Betsy lives and operates her company right down the street from where I live in Naples, FL! Mom’s Meet asked me to sample them with my friend group and of course I said yes. I also contacted Betsy and asked if I could not only sample the butters but feature them on my blog. I’m so happy she said yes because I love working with small businesses.

Testing Betsy's Best nut butters

I found out I was pregnant the week Betsy dropped off some samples. Peanut butter (and all nut butters) quickly found it’s way onto my food aversion list. I just couldn’t handle eating nut butters. Luckily the morning sickness is beginning to subside, which means, it’s nut butter treat time in my house! I’m so happy because my growing baby needs some healthy fats from these butters. The boys are pretty happy too. They really enjoyed helping me make these almond butter protein balls and taste them along the way.

This recipe is so simple. As you probably know by now, almond butter protein balls like this are nothing new. Protein balls have been trending for a while, and they are still popular because they are so easy and delicious. The reason I love this recipe so much is because the Betsy’s Best Almond Butter is so flavorful that you only need three ingredients!

I use to love the gronola bars too when I was a kid but like you said they are filled with sugar. So my mom would roast nuts with a little honey. But these almond butter balls look a lot tastier!!! Gunna give them a try.
